Communication Committee Report

The Building Committee and Building Fund Drive for the New Building are moving forward. Funds collected as of July 14th are up to $307,080. Practically every Sunday additional monies are collected from committed individuals and families. And we continue to experience inquiries and creative contributions of a wide range, such as from insurance policies and gifts of financial securities. 

These funds are currently being invested in a secure account at First Citizens. However, higher return options that are relatively safe in their return are also being explored. 

The Building Committee next meets Tuesday July 31st at 7:00 pm in the Parish Hall.  (Your participation is invited.) Main agenda for that meeting is to review options from the architect re. expanded (a) Christian Education/fellowship and (b) kitchen/meal preparation facilities --- as necessary --- even urgent --- next steps to meeting the parish's needs and contributions to this community.

Prior to July 31st, Candis and Andy Fenn are expected to meet with local bankers to review financing options.

Updates to Building Fund contributions received should appear at least twice a month in the Sunday Bulletin.

As you can see from the above, a momentum of progress is developing from committed individuals and families.
